Eligibility
Any student from the elementary grades through high school is eligible. Neither academic nor athletic nor any other form of recognition is to be considered in the granting of the award. The courage of the student is the only criterion.
selection
The students themselves should be involved in the selection process because it is often only they who are aware of the bullying happening. However, because this can also turn into a "popularity contest", counselors, teachers, and other staff members should also be involved in monitoring the choice.
